Gestern haben die Owner von gleich zwei bekannten Regionen die Schließung ihres Sim verkündet. Einmal ist das Kaleidoscope und zum anderen Just Another Tequila Sunrise. Und heute erfahre ich, dass auch das Yamato Memorial am 22. April geschlossen wird.
Während die erstgenannten beiden Landschaftsregionen sicherlich gut gestaltet sind und viele Fotografen angelockt haben, ist das Yamato Memorial eine Region mit wesentlich längerer Second Life Historie. Das Schiff (also die Yamato) gab es schon 2007 in Second Life, damals noch auf der Region "Yamato of Japan". Später stand es dann längere Zeit auf dem Sim "1944" und irgendwann war es auch mal eine Zeit gar nicht in SL gerezzt, bis dann um 2012 herum die heutige Memorial Region auf dem Yumix Estate erstellt wurde.

"I decided to close this region "YAMATO Memorial" by several circumstances. This coming April 22, 2016, the region will be offline. I hoped that experiencing the full-scale model of the battleship Yamato, will become a trigger for you to consider about history. So, I maintained this region up to now, but it'll be a farewell for the time being. For a long time thank you very much for your patronage.
