NOELIA Island - Second Life

NOELIA Island - Second Life | Second Life Destinations | Scoop.it
Have you ever visited somewhere and enjoyed it so much that you couldn't wait to get back to tell the world about it? Well it has happened to me and the place is Noelia Island in Second Life. Noelia Island designed by Ida Carlberg and her partner, Lyshco, is actually not one but three islands
The main building on the archipelago is a Tuscan Villa set high up on the hillside of the main island accessible by a Camellia lined path past a terraced vineyard.
It is at the Villa itself that I first noticed the attention to detail which for me makes this sim so enjoyable, the washing line with the attendant washing basket, the potted plants with nearby watering cans, the careful placement of tables and chairs, and together with the house furniture and ornaments nothing seems out of place.

Eddi and Ryce Photograph Second Life: Great Second Life Destinations: [G]aio at Devils Ranch | Second Life Destinations | Scoop.it
(G)aio is a gorgeous island sim that reminds me of the regions around the Umbrian Apennine Mountains in Italy, one of the most prized areas in Europe to move to for an annual August vacation. I specifically thought of a farmhouse outside of the famous city of Perugia, alongside beautiful Lake Trasimeno. The landscaping, farm architecture, plantings, and detailing all work well together-- I highly recommend a visit.
