There have been some terrific pictures taken of the sim during the Star Wars event. Thanks to everyone for visiting and capturing the two scenes - Hoth on the ground, Tatooine in the sky - so beautifully. Here are the latest highlights ..

The Star Wars event at Furillen has gone up a level – literally. Adding to the reconstruction of Hoth on the ground, there is now a representation of Tatooine in the sky. All you need to do in order to reach it is TP via the trapdoor at the landing point of the sim, just beneath this sign …

いつもお世話になっている「ヤナの世界」で紹介されていた、スターウォーズの星へ行きました。
エピソードVの最初に出てきた氷の惑星でしょう。AT-ATスノーウォーカーやAT-STスカウトウォーカーがいます。動いてませんでしたけど。

Visited an ice planet Hoth which was introduced at The World of Yana. It may be a stage of Starwars, the planet which was at the opening of the Episode V. There are various vehicles such as AT-AT Snow Walker and AT-ST Scout Walker, unfortunately they were not moving when I visited.

今日の美しい場所、ご紹介はFurillen - Hoth @ Love of Life SIM さんです。 Furillen - Hoth は映画 「STAR WARS」 の一場面みたいでした。

Furillen was unusual – it sprang up and disappeared in a very short time. There was no fanfare for closure, and no time for a reprieve. And that was right. Gertrude Jekyll, the great garden designer of the early 20th century, never wanted her gardens preserved. Without the gardener, the garden ceased to be a dynamic expression of her creativity and became someone else’s fixed idea of what it was. Serene Footman shrugged the usual title of owner, and as janitor cultivated the sim for things to flourish within it. And without his continued cultivation it would not have been Furillen. That is not in an egotistical sense, but as in gardening you can control the initial conditions, but after that it is down to other factors.

Erst vor einer Woche hatte ich hier über eine neue Star Wars Landschaft berichtet, die Serene Footman auf seiner Region "Furillen" errichtet hat. Der Grund war der Start des Star Wars Ablegers Rogue One in den Kinos.

Was Serene letzte Woche eröffnet hatte, war eine Nachbildung der Filmszene auf dem Eisplaneten "Hoth". Die war Teil der Handlung in der Episode "Das Imperium schlägt zurück". Da auf Furillen durch die Land Impact Erhöhung noch reichlich Prims frei waren, hat Serene nun auf einer Sky-Plattform zusätzlich auch noch eine Referenz zu "Tatooine" gebaut.

Une petite plongée dans l’univers de Star Wars ça vous dit ? Furillen s’est parée de l’épais manteau blanc de la scène de combat de l’Empire contre-attaque, celui du blizzard, de la tempête de neige sur Hoth, la base de l’Alliance rebelle qui s’oppose à l’Empire galactique, et son sinistre représentant Dark Vador.

With the film "Rouge One" set to appear this month, there's been more of an interest in "Star Wars" lately. So it was no real surprise that I heard of a sim getting a makeover by it's owner to replicate the Battle of Hoth in "The Empire Strikes Back." The place is Furillen located at the Love of Life sim. Serene Footman, the owner, described what he did in the sim's blog. The sim just had its biggest ever make-over for an event – over the weekend I started completely from scratch in order to replicate Hoth, the ice planet that features in one of the strongest movies of the entire franchise, The Empire Strikes Back. It’s Furillen’s way of celebrating this week’s release of Rogue One, which looks like being a classic.
