Eddi and Ryce Photograph Second Life: Great Second Life Destinations: Nostalgic Japan at Roche

Eddi and Ryce Photograph Second Life: Great Second Life Destinations: Nostalgic Japan at Roche | Second Life Destinations | Scoop.it
Nostalgic is a Japan-themed destination that has an ongoing garden and yard sale. It is located at Roche, which used to have one of the most realistic North American island builds ever constructed. Nostalgic is a worthy successor to the past Roche build. It is both whimsical and realistic, with a sense of scale and proportion that demonstrates why Japan-themed sims are as a group the best in Second Life. Sakura, Japanese Cherry Trees with their lush pink colored flowers are now in full Spring bloom and dominate the island plantings along with ancient and massive gnarled pines.

Pomponne - Second Life

Pomponne - Second Life | Second Life Destinations | Scoop.it
Pomponne in Second Life is a modern Japanese village... It feels very complete... you arrive near the train station where there are some stores... yummy Senbei (a type of rice cracker) Then a little walk down to a cafe where we met some nice Japanese people... I wanted to ask for a cake, but i…

Eddi and Ryce Photograph Second Life: Great Second Life Destinations: Springtime at Tatakai Tochi in the Mountains of Japan

Eddi and Ryce Photograph Second Life: Great Second Life Destinations: Springtime at Tatakai Tochi in the Mountains of Japan | Second Life Destinations | Scoop.it
Tatakai Tochi, which means Flight Land in Japanese, is a lush and atmospheric sim by designer Shen Molinaro, is evocative of the forests and lakes of the mountain regions of Japan. Mountains. Shen has also designed Suomi, one of the most admired and heralded sims in 2016. Suomi, which means Finland in the Finnish language, is an evocative landscape of tall pines, clear lakes, and Northern Lights contrasts well with Tatakai Tochi. Instead of cold mountain streams and winter atmospherics, Tatakia Tochi celebrates Spring with forests of flowering Sakura trees, bamboo groves, and clear running waterfalls. The landscape here is unexpected and a pleasure to walk and discover. I highly recommend a visit here, and to Suomi if you have not yet visited.
