Second Life Destinations

As of November 23, 2016, Dixmix Art Gallery hosts three incredible artists, Maloe Vansant, Isa Messioptra and Fingers Scintilla. At the entrance of the fine art gallery are photographs of Maloe Vansant that furnish the Black Gallery. In fact, Dixmix Art Gallery, offers three different types of prevailing colors: black, gray and white. 

Legacy Ridge is a mix of urban and rural areas. From the landing area, you enter a small town, complete with a mix of businesses and a few homes. The first store I spotted was the florist – the bed of sunflowers caught my eye, since they are my state’s official flower.:-) I love wandering around all the different places people build – in part because I don’t own a lot of land in SL, and I never seem to have enough prims to go around.��

Legacy Ridge is described as a private residential community within Second Life, although it is open to public visits. A full region, the design is largely the work of Isa (Isa Messioptra) and Cipher (Ciphertazi Wandin), the talents behind Crestwick Island, a destination I last wrote about a little over a year ago, at the start of June 2015. Given Isa and Ciph are involved in Legacy Ridge, you might expect it to be somewhat special in look and feel – and if you were to do so, you’d be absolutely right. This is a beautifully imagined and designed coastal hamlet, tucked into a fjord-like lnlet cutting deep between tall mountain peaks which hunch protectively around it as if sheltering it from the rest of the world.
