I first went up the hill to visit the Tuscan villa. It is build with love for the details and I spent more time there than I expected. In particular the reading pose on the terrace is really lovely. I can literally see myself doing that in RL…

After my visit to the villa I walked along the shore and came to the mystic cave. It is not a maze, but as the name implies it has some mystic. There’s a ghost welcoming you, there’s a spiders net and a flying chair (of course I also sat on it but looking at it was more fun). I also saw a dance pole in the cave for mystic moments together.

Then I walked over the large rope bridge to the smaller island, the meditation island. There are several spots to mediate also a Buddha as mentioned in the landmark description. I tried several of them but personally I think I’ll get more into mediation with the reading pose at the villa mentioned above. And there’s the stone of wisdom … When you click on it you’ll get wisdoms to think about like…. The Magic Stone of Wisdom says: Don’t make an effort to love the world. Noelia Island is both a Mediterranean-themed island archipelago destination and a Buddhist spiritual retreat center. While the combination might appear to be incongruous at first, it all works well together. This is generally a natural and realistically proportioned landscape with nice touches such as fields of wildflowers in proportion to the pathways which transverse the main island. The statue of Buddha (show below) is particularly striking in a dusk light setting when moonrays and fantasy lights combine to produce a magical effect. I highly recommend a visit.

NOELIA Island, designed by Ida Carlberg and her partner, Lyshco, is a beautiful Mediterranean themed homestead region, offering visitors the opportunity to “dance, date, romance or cuddle in the romantic spots, take a fun boat ride, relax on the beach, take photos or meditate near the Buddha”. Divided into three islands, the largest of which hunches high rocky shoulders to the east and south, encompassing land which rolls down to a low-lying coast to face two smaller islands on the north side of the region. One of these thrusts a rugged head up from its covering of sand and grass, while the other offers a low-lying atoll-like beach reached via a board walk spanning the water.

The main building on the archipelago is a Tuscan Villa set high up on the hillside of the main island accessible by a Camellia lined path past a terraced vineyard.
It is at the Villa itself that I first noticed the attention to detail which for me makes this sim so enjoyable, the washing line with the attendant washing basket, the potted plants with nearby watering cans, the careful placement of tables and chairs, and together with the house furniture and ornaments nothing seems out of place.
