Nun fehlt mir einfach wieder die Zeit, ausführlich über den heutigen Wintertipp zu bloggen. Aber ich denke, die meisten meiner Leser kennen die Geschichte von Frisland und auch die Meldung, dass nun zwei der drei ehemaligen Gestalter von Frisland eine andere Winterlandschaft mit dem Namen "Fris' Land" erstellt haben. Und zwar sind das Charlie Namiboo und Frislanda Ferraris (Fris).

Für Fris' Land wurde keine neue Region verwendet, sondern die private Homestead von Fris, die zum Teil auch an andere SL-Bewohner untervermietet ist. Mit diesen Mietern wurde vorher abgesprochen, dass die Region nun eine Zeit lang für alle SL-Nutzer geöffnet wird. Und die Meldung hat sich schnell herumgesprochen, denn allein auf Flickr habe ich seitdem schon unzählige Fotos von Fris' Land gesehen.

Many picturesque wintery sims are popping up left and right in Second Life, and one that's sure to warm the hearts of many explorers is Fris' Land, created by Charlie Namiboo and Frislanda Ferraris. In summer 2016, the popular sim they had created in partnership with Annabelle Barzane — Frisland (read here) — closed after a great two-year run in which one of the seasonal designs was a snow-covered landscape. Now, for a limited time, that landscape has had a revival of sorts, and previous visitors to Frisland are certain to travel down memory lane at Fris' Land.
