Okay, so the horses are awesome. They are roaming around the Sim, and you just have to sit on one to be able to ride it. The animations are cool including walk, trot, gallop, and you can ride single or as a couple. Once we found them, we abandoned walking for good! Rosewood is a beautiful place, pretty wild and full of flowers, and the tumbled-down circus with all the animals wandering free is great. I loved the horses, the birds and animals, the beach, the shooting stars, the natural relaxed atmosphere of the place, with lots of points of interest and nice areas to hang out and chill.

I found Grace Island. According to the land blurb, “The end of a summer’s love affair, as told through a photogenic beach sim capped with mountain forest. In Sordid Affair time stands still in heartbreak for photography and to explore. Watch for clues and interpret the story your way.” I must confess, I often (usually) don’t read anything about the place I am photographing. I prefer to explore and be surprised, rather than having preconceived notions about what I will see/find. :-D

Grace island has a super nice beach, complete with sand dunes, it's own little Giant's Causeway, bunker and places to stay and relax... We headed off, first over the Causeway, then a bridge... This spot is extra nice at night... There are houses to stay in... And breakfast to find :D http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Grace%20Island/237/179/22
Welcome to one of the most realistic, perfect beaches in Second Life, emotional and deserted. Experience the beauty of northern Baja California in its natural state. Come see the beach, dunes, surf, nature, ocean and more ...

Miro Collas dropped me a tweet suggesting Caitlyn and I take a look at Butterfly Beach, a Homestead region that recently opened to the public. The region has been designed by (the always delightfully named) Funky Banana (FunkyBananas) working with Lien Lowe. Funky was also responsible for Banana Bay, which we enjoyed visiting in the summer of 2017. Butterfly Beach shares something of a common heritage with Banana Bay: both offer sunny, sandy beaches, a feeling of getting away from it all and an opportunity to relax and simply spend time in thought or with someone. From the air (or the Map) it’s clear how the island came by its name, and a visit starts on what might be considered the butterfly’s upper right wing (actually down towards the south-east corner of the region in terms of Map orientation).

As I was photographing different spots and areas, I could not help but think to myself that I could spend at least a couple of more hours there enjoying the sim, the atmosphere and taking photos, very easily. There is just simply so much there, so many quaint and relaxing spots to sit and enjoy, so many areas that I found to be amazingly photogenic, that you would end up with a huge pile of photos to appreciate from Kaelyn Alecto's sim.

The Trace, one of the best designed and landscaped regions in virtual reality, changes with the seasons. The latest iteration for Spring 2016, that owner Kylie Jaxxon has designed with the help of Elvira Kytori, is a masterpiece. Both show their well-earned reputations with a deft touch that is entirely natural and not exaggerated -- you get a sense of being at an actual real world location here that is missing from many other Second Life destinations.

The Trace, Kylie Jaxxon's seasonal sim, has just reopened, emerging from winter with a stunning new immersive environment co-created with designer Elvira Kytori, and it's certainly the most impressive Trace to have appeared in the ongoing series. Everywhere are scenic views, panoramic vistas and beautiful details that will delight explorers, photographers and couples alike.

Chuisle Alecto's Sordid Affair on Grace Island, by her own words, are "the end of a summer's love affair, as told through a photogenic beach sim capped with mountain forest". I thought the land and seascape were unique designed and quite gorgeous and that the houses and beach shacks, and other architectural details were particularly well done. This is beachfront design at its best. I highly recommend a visit.
