In May 2015, my school sent a group of students and teachers to the Amazon Rainforest in Peru. I was among them, and was tasked with documenting what we did and learned in the week we were there. What followed were these blogs.

Meeting the howler monkeys was my trip highlight! I was amazed at the instant bond that was created with them. I also loved meeting and spending 10 sweaty days with so many amazing educators!

...today my students had a chance to do some real science! They observed a small area of the rainforest floor and canopy, and came up with research questions that would blow the College Board out of the Amazon River!
