I first heard about the documentary on Saturday morning.
As usual, I was awoken by one of my children crawling into our bed. It was my older daughter, who brought a book and curled up under the covers.

The environment minister promises "transparency" - hours after Chinese internet censors scrubbed a viral documentary about pollution
Zhang ZheWei's curator insight, April 6, 2015 9:21 AM

I think that this environmental pollution is due to the incapability of the government. Firstly they did not enforce on the law for the environment problem. Not only that they try the bluff  through the issue on certain environment problem by not stating the law clearly. Allowing the environment problem to worsen as no one can enforce law on those industries destroying the environment. However, this environment pollution can be slowly resolved as the government starts to emphasize on the air pollution and the environment protection by bringing up new laws that will help the environment to improve. And there are solution for the citizens of china to stop the law breaker from destroying the environment. I believe few years later china's pollution problems will improve.

Yes.  This is a fight we've been loosing for 40 years.  It's time to try harder.  Perhaps our President would help?

Ismail marboul's curator insight, October 8, 2016 11:05 AM

my insight is that countries should take in to consideration the effects of air pollution around the world and what they can do to prevent them as the cause of climate change can also link to the increase in air pollution in the world.a huge cause of this is human activities. They have been highlighted as the major causes of air pollution, especially in the cities. To support a larger population, there's a need for energy production, transportation, and industries, resulting in the emission of harmful chemicals into the atmosphere. A list of the human causes of air pollution includes vehicles, domestic smoke and heating, aircraft pollution, outdoor fires, and incineration of waste. To reduce the problems of air pollution, people should be more aware of their actions in these areas.
