Two export corvette "Gepard-3.9" on the revised draft will be constructed for 11661E Vietnamese Zelenodolsk Shipyard, said the company's CEO Renat Mistahov.
"Laying the Vietnamese corvette under the contract will be made in June this year, will then be laying the second ship," - said Mistahov ITAR-TASS during the international exhibition LIMA 2013.
"The terms of delivery to the customer ships are scheduled for 2016 and 2017," - he added.
In 2007 Zelenodolsk Shipyard laid two other corvettes "Gepard-3.9" for Vietnam, which had been transferred to the customer in 2011. The total amount of Vietnamese contract for the first two ships more than 300 million dollars.
Corvette Project 11661E type "Gepard-3.9" is designed to perform the task of finding, tracking and control of surface, underwater and air targets, conducting convoy operations, a patrol, protect economic zone.
Total displacement of the ship is 2,100 tons, the total length of 10.5 meters, width 13.7 m, range at 10 knots - about 5 thousand miles, full speed - 30 knots (more than 56 km / h), the crew - 103 human endurance - 20 days.
The ship is equipped with antiship missile system "Uran" anti-aircraft missiles, artillery, anti-submarine and antitorpedo weapons. Provided basing on the corvette deck helicopters Ka-28 and Ka-31. The ship has a hangar for aircraft.
