While NASA's moon missions were going pretty strong during the Apollo era, why don't we have a moon base yet?! In this video, we answer this often asked question by exploring the LESA (Lunar Exploration System for Apollo) moon base concepts of NASA back in the 60s and early 70s. Unfortunately, all NASA moon landing and moon colony plans back then were cancelled not least because of the Vietnam war.
