This article explores the newly founded streaming platform, Maestro. Maestro offers its music clients monetization tools that enable them to sell tickets, merch, subscription events, and to give shout outs to fans who tip on the platform. I believe this could be a very interesting thing for the music industry. The website used is musicbussinessworldwide again. This website seems to be quite credible, though, it is not a major information platform for the industry.

This article is about a fairly new streaming company which allows independent artists to not only stream their music but also to sell merch and tickets to their performances as well. Billie Ellish's used this service for her 'Where Do We Go? Livestream' in October of last year, she sold tickets for $30 each. I think this service is great for up and coming artists, it gives them the opportunity to have a shop for everything they need all in one place. I especially like the options for artists to host their own live events. It really helps put the artist in control of their career.
This article does follow the currency portion of the source guide, stating that if an article is old and outdated you should be skeptical about its reliability. This article here was written on March 02, 2021 which is a little less than a month since then I'm writing this. Also, another key thing is you 'can't tell' who necessarily wrote the post, meaning that the article shows no bias.
This is the same website as the previous article and there isn't too many shares either on this article. But just as the last one it was a very easy read that allowed you to really understand what was going on.
There isn't a motive of making the reader choose a side in this article but if I had to come up with sides I would say that looking from the artist's perspective with Maestro joining Sony that helped increase exposure and also I'm sure of new features within the streaming service. On the other end, joining with Sony could have taken away a lot of ownership that Maestro leaders that may have still wanted that control.

After reading this article I realized how great of an idea it was to do virtual tours because of the situation that we are currently facing with covid. This could open new ideas to help advance the music industry. Stuart Dredge published this article and after doing some research this was a reliable source, in the article he links where he got all his information from.

AmazeVr is giving fans a new experience for virtual concerts. Due to the pandemic many music venues were shut down for protocol. Now fans get to see their favorite artists perform up close as if they were in person. This also allow performers to do what they love without taking a break because of Covid-19. Although attending concerts are better in my opinion, I think this is a great alternative.
Musically.com shares credible source on music and technology updates for everyone.

This was a shorter article but I liked how it was straight to the point. It has insight on the product and how it was planning to expand.
This is another credible source with story having the dates and author credited. The great part about the information is that it was current with the way live shows were going to evolve with technology.

This article is about the Fender Play app which allows you to learn how to play the guitar. I feel like this app really shows how advanced and new our technology has grown from. Even so much of knowing that people were probably just learning how to play guitar from watching YouTube to know the best and most efficient way of learning how to play in a self-teaching at home method.
This article, although short, gives a good overall summary of the uses of the app. A lot of the extra information you would have to actually use and download the app to see any extra features and overall "gameplay".
On one side, a classic/old-school guitarist may strongly despise of this teaching method. Having strong views on being taught from a true professional or guru on this subject, which may in some cases be necessary. On the other, more modern side, this may be the next big thing. Someone stuck in quarantine during the pandemic may have found their new passion on this app. And would strongly suggest it to someone they may know looking to learn how to play. Especially if they maybe don't have access to a mentor to learn from.

This is a great way to get more people and bands into playing and watching shows from the safety of their home and keep the bands, crew, production team safe during COVID. This service could help save the music industry.
