This is a great way to get more people and bands into playing and watching shows from the safety of their home and keep the bands, crew, production team safe during COVID. This service could help save the music industry.

Trash was bought out by Vsco. I didn’t now much about it before hand. However from what I read here, it’s a video production app. It’s some what similar to tik tok. That being said, it’s still a unique entity.

I agree that "It is the automation of this art, once the preserve of skilled radio DJs, that Super Hi-Fi is bringing to the digital music industry. In doing so, the L.A.-based company thinks it can help music services and artists make more money, and give listeners a new and improved way of experiencing audio." The industry of music is changing and is an ever revolving door allowing depictions of creativity from all walks of life and technology. Sound waves are one of the main ingredients producers possibly look for to make sure their artist projects are being in the best possible audio definition out there, and with tech individuals coming up with new era ways to make this happen it seems the future of audio in music and the way people will hear it will continuously change.

AI created for apps such as iHeart Radio to navigate user's playlist for them without the use for pauses/ ads and silence between tracks. This tech is doubling the monthly listeners for iHeart Radio.
my take from this article is how technology has advanced and is now gearing up to power the music industry. Spencer Rascoff, Co-Founder of dot.LA a news and events company with the purpose of shining light on the technology surrounding Los Angeles. This source could provide great content for audio and technical professionals.

This article is about Super Hi-Fi a company thats goal is to bring more money into the industry and to artists by giving some variance to the audio quality in streaming services. Currently, all streaming services have downtime between songs. Super Hi-Fi plans to introduce AI that should help streaming services improve their platforms by removing the downtime between songs in essence working as a virtual DJ.
*Dot.LA is a newer Los Angeles-based music and technology news outlet. It is run by industry professionals who have sold tech startups and work closely with the tech industry. Being based in LA most likely makes it easy to collect info on music technology as they are at the source or have peers that are. |

This article was a good article just informing everyone on a new automated internet radio service unlike things like IHeartRadio and etc. This was a reliable source because the objective of it was is to sell you a product. It’s not a major informational source for the industry unless you plan on going into radio. After that it is because this is a new platform for you.

- Sonos is ready to compete with other audio streaming services across the world with a new subscription based platform that offers access to 60,000+ radio stations for just under $8 a month. At first glance it doesn't sound like anything special nor something we haven't heard of before however the streaming quality is lossless FLAC compression the likes of which have yet to be seen on services like Spotify and Apple Music. |
Boomy is a software that allows an artist to make music and release it to streaming services. It launched in 2020 and has since grown quite bit since with 2 million sings created with 77k songs created a month. This is a great program an artist could use to make new music and songs to be released and at the same time gives them exposure.
