I found this to be intriguing. Headphones that can play sound from pretty much whichever direction you're facing. That is clever. It gives you that right up in your face type of feel, like you're a part of whatever you're listening to. This gives us a New ways of looking at music, like how can we give consumers that real life sort of feel when they listen to our music. I think Spotify just opened doors to that pondering question.

Being someone who uses Spotify on the daily I love that this new feature is coming out! By them planning on enabling "A media playback system" it will allow Spotify music artist to upload music with ultimately a higher quality sound. I feel like this source is accurate as well because this isn't thirst time I've heard of this update nor do I have a reason to not trust the MusicBuisnessWorldWide website after using it as a source in the past. For anyone who uses Spotify on the daily like me and is also a Spotify music artist this Definitely some helpful information.

Spotify's patent to release 3D audio that draws the listener to a specific location by tracking the devices geolocation and the playback would direct the listener in a way as a surround system would.

Today is the day I discover something new to me.. The STEM campaign is a machine! I love the energy and direction they’re going in the industry and staying connected with community and media. P.S I’d rather be the person signing off the Royalties then receiving them.

What stem music is doing here is great. I love the fact that they would do such thing as pay for peoples royalties because I know when paying royalties thats a lot to pay with music. They also have help supporters during the pandemic especially independent artist. They come to a point where they want to start learning about things like Juneteenth and Blackout Tuesday. I feel like a lot of people should do that because that would make a great impact on a lot of things in todays world we live in. But honestly I don' t really thinks it contributes to audio industry people. It explains certain things in there but not so much a lot of things.

Stem music is used a platform for independent artist to distribute their music. During the pandemic Stem was finding hard to payout artists so they raised $10 million in taking action against racial injustices and Black Lives Matter. As a result of their successful funding they also distributed a percentage to the artists using their platform. This is an interview conducted by Sam Blake for Ed Bugge (partner in L.A. based entertainment law firm). Statistics show a 78% growth rate in independent artists and producers due to the decline of the media ecosystem. I agree that high quality production tools have made at home recording studios very popular throughout the pandemic. The writers contact information can be found below the article. The article is from dot.LA, and it is a common resource for audio industry professionals.

So with the L.A music tech start ups I see has worked in various ways since the pandemic started. Many people had started home studios and making a way for them during the pandemic. Its help the music industry a lot and giving the technology needed for things such as music production. Technology expand makes music even greater than it is now because it's various ways to make music and the audio sound the way that it does today. This source would be great for people in the audio industry, it explains a lot about music and how's it progressed and with the audio technology. That's something that could be read about and to read on for good source of work.

- Snapchat has bought a music "video" app called Voisey which allows it's users to create videos of themselves singing along to songs and using professional vocal effects while doing so straight from their phones, I find that it seems to bridge the gap between Snapchat, music steaming apps, and Tiktok, as users can collab with other users on their videos.

This has a ton of charts and very useful knowledge to help understand consumer trends, and how artists can make full use of data to help jump start their craft. Some of these charts include which country streams the most, to what they listen to, that gives you an idea of what is trending (whether its local, or unique artists). Knowing these demographics in turn, helps the artist with aiming for "trigger cities" with accuracy, and how to use these platforms to your benefits. The link provided by chartmetric is where all the meat of information lies.

Ellon musk is trying to beat the music game by taking it to a next level. He wants to make his nuralink stream music just from your Brain, no wires no headphones all coming from your head. Not only that but the nuralink is supposed to help get rid of anxiety and help with a lot of chronic illness and pain, the next update to the future starts with this.

Ok so my opinion on this is in theory it seems like a good idea but I feel that there could and definitely would be a lot of flaws like don’t get me wrong I’m all about not having headphones for music and letting my self still have music but also being able to also be aware of my surroundings.

I like that there are professionals out there in the music industry who are trying to find a way to bridge the gap. Another pretty recent article published by music business world wide about a company that is raising money to create a platform to create music and get approval for sampling music. Something all producers should probably turn to. |
This article was a good article just informing everyone on a new automated internet radio service unlike things like IHeartRadio and etc. This was a reliable source because the objective of it was is to sell you a product. It’s not a major informational source for the industry unless you plan on going into radio. After that it is because this is a new platform for you.
- Sonos is ready to compete with other audio streaming services across the world with a new subscription based platform that offers access to 60,000+ radio stations for just under $8 a month. At first glance it doesn't sound like anything special nor something we haven't heard of before however the streaming quality is lossless FLAC compression the likes of which have yet to be seen on services like Spotify and Apple Music.
- This article is 100% credible without a doubt as it is a Forbes article written by Bill Rosenblatt, the founder of GiantSteps Media Technology Strategies.
