Just over two years after launching officially, Boomy is now emerging from beta, with some stats to brandish too.
Wanya Cofield's curator insight, September 19, 2021 4:27 PM
Boomy has been progressing since its launch 2 years ago. Boomy gives an artist the ability to create songs and upload them to streaming services. Soon Boomy will be coming out of beta to introduce new features such as a user interface and being able to upload your own vocals with its system. I feel like this is something great waiting to blossom in the audio/music community. I look forward to what Boomy has in store.
Mari P's curator insight, October 17, 2021 7:43 PM

Sonos Takes A Step Forward In Internet Radio With SuperHiFi’s AI Technology

Sonos Takes A Step Forward In Internet Radio With SuperHiFi’s AI Technology | New Music Industry | Scoop.it
Sonos launched a paid subscription Internet radio service today. It uses AI-based technology from a startup called SuperHiFi that creates lavishly-produced programming automatically and in real time.
Chad’s Oldest Son ‍'s curator insight, December 16, 2020 11:47 PM

This article was a good article just informing everyone on a new automated internet radio service unlike things like IHeartRadio and etc. This was a reliable source because the objective of it was is to sell you a product. It’s not a major informational source for the industry unless you plan on going into radio. After that it is because this is a new platform for you.

Adam Umbach's curator insight, February 16, 2021 7:25 PM

- Sonos is ready to compete with other audio streaming services across the world with a new subscription based platform that offers access to 60,000+ radio stations for just under $8 a month. At first glance it doesn't sound like anything special nor something we haven't heard of before however the streaming quality is lossless FLAC compression the likes of which have yet to be seen on services like Spotify and Apple Music.

- This article is 100% credible without a doubt as it is a Forbes article written by Bill Rosenblatt, the founder of GiantSteps Media Technology Strategies.

Super Hi-Fi Hopes to Change Streaming Audio Using AI | New Music Industry | Scoop.it
It is the automation of this art, once the preserve of skilled radio DJs, that Super Hi-Fi is bringing to the digital music industry. In doing so, the L.A.-based company thinks it can help music services and artists make more money, and give listeners a new and improved way of experiencing audio.
Day Collins's curator insight, October 19, 2020 10:56 PM
I agree that "It is the automation of this art, once the preserve of skilled radio DJs, that Super Hi-Fi is bringing to the digital music industry. In doing so, the L.A.-based company thinks it can help music services and artists make more money, and give listeners a new and improved way of experiencing audio." The industry of music is changing and is an ever revolving door allowing depictions of creativity from all walks of life and technology. Sound waves are one of the main ingredients producers possibly look for to make sure their artist projects are being in the best possible audio definition out there, and with tech individuals coming up with new era ways to make this happen it seems the future of audio in music and the way people will hear it will continuously change.
thechampmusic@gmail.com's curator insight, March 19, 2021 5:44 PM

AI created for apps such as iHeart Radio to navigate user's playlist for them without the use for pauses/ ads and silence between tracks. This tech is doubling the monthly listeners for iHeart Radio.

my take from this article is how technology has advanced and is now gearing up to power the music industry.

Coben Turk's curator insight, September 17, 2021 3:26 PM

This article is about Super Hi-Fi a company thats goal is to bring more money into the industry and to artists by giving some variance to the audio quality in streaming services. Currently, all streaming services have downtime between songs. Super Hi-Fi plans to introduce AI that should help streaming services improve their platforms by removing the downtime between songs in essence working as a virtual DJ.

Karalynne Moreno's curator insight, April 27, 2021 3:23 PM
This article was about new AI technology that helps mimic the sound and style of other artists. By doing this they targetted artists who passed away at the age of 27 to help spread mental awareness. The author of this article is named Sandra Dony who is a writer for techstory. With technology as such as this AI, it could really change the music industry to help with things such as mental awareness because there is a lot of that in the music industry and we don't here a lot about the reality of being a "popstar".
Cherry P's curator insight, June 23, 2021 11:33 PM
