Inspiring mum – Joanna

Inspiring mum – Joanna | Name News | Scoop.it

It was definitely very difficult! We both wanted names that would sound good in English (we do live in Canada) my hubby wanted names that sound good in French, and me in Polish. During my first pregnancy [with Lilianne], I have let my hubby win (I wanted Lilianna) but I decided it’s just one letter of a difference, so it’s ok. But then during my second pregnancy it was more difficult: he liked Rosalie and I loved Melania. In the end our middle ground turned out to be Mila-Rose.

Spencer Pratt says former ‘Hills’ star inspired son’s name

Spencer Pratt says former ‘Hills’ star inspired son’s name | Name News | Scoop.it
“Stone is not supposed to be a middle name, though!” Pratt, 34, added. “I liked it as a double name — shout-out to our former [“Hills“] co-star Justin Bobby, who inspired me.”

Though Pratt attempted to fill out the birth certificate with Gunner Stone as the first name, Montag “wasn’t having it.”

He also made clear he expects the couple’s first child to have an athletic future.

“He’ll probably be a pitcher, so when Gunner steps to the mound, he’s going to be gunning those throws down home plate,” Pratt said. “If he wants to be a skier, he’s going to be gunning down those moguls. It just applies to all sports.”

Inspiring mum - Nikki

Inspiring mum - Nikki | Name News | Scoop.it
With Taleah she was going to be Sofia but Chris and I still had not come to a solid agreement and he really wanted to call her Taleah. Chris stood his ground and after a few hours I really didn’t care what we called her I just wanted to get out of the hospital and go home. I am so glad her won that one as I adore her name. Emmi-Belle when she was born she was either join to be Emmi or Daisy. As soon as I saw her I was set on Daisy but every one that was there was saying she looks more like an Emmi (Bec my sister came up with that name) we actually left the hospital with an unnamed baby. I was determine to win this battle of the names and so was my stubborn partner Chris. He ended up suggesting Emmi-Belle 2 days after she was born and I knew that was the name for her.
