This is an interesting article. It's actually the second I've read in the last few days about the 'anthropocene'. I think it is a thing now. Something I do find hard to take though, is the notion that we must save the planet. We don't. The planet will outlast humanity by a long way. Nonetheless, what is discussed in the article is worthwhile in terms of prolonging humanity's existence.
