Sculpteo is a fascinating French company that's working to bring 3D printing to the masses. The company had a booth at CES, and while some of our chat. Think about it, anything you want, anything you can design in a 3d Program. I´m pretty sure there is many thing in your living room that you just think could be a bit different to fit together with the rest of the inventory. However - it could be very fun to design one´s lamp or decorations. I find that the prices are very attractive. @safegaard

This year’s Euromold will feature an innovative 3D face scanning and printing system by 3D Systems and Geomagic. All attendees will be able to get their face scanned using Geomagic and a Kinect scanner, and attendees can watch faces be printed out in 3D using 3D Systems’ latest 3DTouch printer, an affordable 3D printer newly launched by the company. This is a 3D printed plastic stamp with three interchangeable faces, designed to be kept behind the bar and used to leave helpful messages on the fore... 3D printing is a strand of technological advancement that rarely hits mainstream information channels - perhaps there are more important things to consider. If you have any interest in the future and sciense you should see this. See how a man make glass bovl and other stuff with only the sun and the sand in the desert as resourses. It's amazing. Its the idea that is the point here, not the glass bovl - but the idea off making things only with the resourses like sun and sand. :-) @safegaard
