I really like the transmedia storytelling idea, but simultaneous transmedia? i'm not so sure...what happens to the unfiltered narration experience? i'm more for the before and after. unless films are actually written with transmedia in mind. simply transmedia-ing existing films won't work. at least not for the core story.

Drawn to the Movies: Animation Techniques

Drawn to the Movies: Animation Techniques | Machinimania | Scoop.it
Whether drawn with a pencil, sculpted by hand, or rendered in a computer, animation is a cornerstone of modern moviemaking.
Shi'Asia Jones's curator insight, November 19, 2013 10:11 PM

This website is helpful because it gives visual of the techniques that animator use when creating movies. There are also videos that show in depth processes of how Disney's Sleeping Beauty was restored. It also describes that animation takes months and is an extremely long process. However, animators can create amazing things and pair it with voice overs to make great movies.
