Officers from the criminal police service searched the premises of Luxembourg's Justice Ministry on Thursday.
Police officers were reportedly looking for documents related to the law on obstruction of justice, possibly in connection with the "Bommeleeër" investigation into a series of bombings in Luxembourg in the 1980s.
