A Luxembourg-based platform for young entrepreneurs in the creative field is one of 42 start-ups across Europe to have been selected to attend a programme in the US aimed at strengthening transatlantic partnerships.

Brave Youth, the brainchild of two friends, Kasia Kolodziejczyk and Feyrouz Ashoura, provides an online and face-to-face meeting point for entrepreneurs from the creative scene.

Kolodziejczyk, 35, who lives in the Pfaffenthal area of Luxembourg, said: "Brave Youth is a community for people in the creative field to meet and share ideas and advice. It is aimed at young people from across the world. People can network online, and we also organise events for people to meet."

After gaining thousands of members since its official launch at the end of 2016, Brave Youth has now opened another branch in Algeria, from March this year.
