Amazon announced Tuesday that the expansion of its Pickup Location Programme in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg will see 1,500 locations added, including 25 in the Grand Duchy.
This planned extension, which will be conducted in partnership with parcel collection network DPD Pickup, will bring the total number of Amazon Pickup points to 2,300 within the Benelux market.
The DPD Pickup service will enable customers to select the time of day for the collection of their order, as well as their preferred Pickup Location during checkout from among the some 750 new stores in the Netherlands, 725 in Belgium and 25 in Luxembourg. Customers will need to present a form of identification at the store they have selected to recover their parcel.
