(CS) At the Intellectual Property (IP) Day on Thursday, Economy Minister Etienne Schneider highlighted that Acta would not lead to changes in Luxembourg's data protection laws, ===> but pointed out that illegal copying and downloading would not be tolerated by the state. <===
Currently, the future of Acta remains uncertain as it is being debated in the EU parliament, with several representatives already vowing to vote against the new data protection law.

Gegen das Acta-Abkommen zum Urheberrecht im Netz gehen am Samstag weltweit zahlreiche Internetnutzer auf die Straße. Auch in Luxemburg trafen sich um 12.30 Uhr etwa hundert Acta-Gegner zur Demo auf dem Place d´armes.
