This video and example file demonstrates how to sync just the records relevant to your current location. This is a very common workflow in offline solutions and it helps keep the found set on your mobile device nice and small: meaning faster syncs and a better experience for folks in the field who don’t have to page through a bunch of irrelevant records. Andy showed off a deployment of GoZync that Todd Geist integrated into a solution for STAT Bio-Medical. STAT’s employees deliver and service large medical devices using offline information on their FileMaker Go databases. They then push the results of these services back to the main office when they do get an internet connection.
GoZync system is perfect for Stat Bio-Medical and I can’t say enough good things about how this is going to change my company and supporting my customers over night! Once again, thank you for saving my company and being able to let us Go Green…. Go Paperless with GoZync…. over night!!!

We (Seedcode) ’ve simplified GoMaps to work on desktop versions of FileMaker Pro solutions and named it ProMaps.
The relationship graph got dead simple so you can paste the map right on to your existing layouts. (And the map is scriptable, so once you click on a pin, you can run your own scripts from the property detail within the map.)
ProMaps is completely unlocked for you to modify and extend.

Simpler Management of your Synced Files But some GoZync customers want to keep their hosted and mobile file schema identical (layouts, scripts, tables, fields, etc.), and they want to do that without having to always make the same changes in both files. Water Quality Inspections Using iPads, FileMaker 12, and GoZync FullCity Consulting built this solution for a private company tasked with managing water quality in open bodies of water across large parts of two states.
FullCity Consulting built this solution for a private company tasked with managing water quality in open bodies of water across large parts of two states. FullCity created their own FileMaker Go files, then used GoZync to sync inspections made offline with their client’s main FileMaker 12 solution. Previously they were managing their workflow (from onsite service reports to state required reporting) on paper and using Access running under Parallels on a single Mac in the owner’s office. FullCity’s Adam Aronson recalls:
“When I first visited them there was a stack of service reports on the owner’s desk (2″ high!) that represented 60 days of invoices that had yet to be sent out. I referred to this as ‘self imposed Net-90′. Additionally, the information represented on the service reports needed to be aggregated yearly into a specific format for state reporting requirements. Collecting all of the data and reentering it into Access (for printing the reports) was taking the two owners a ridiculous amount of time.”
