According to the FileMaker Pro 17 Advanced Help, there are two options on how to create charts:

- Create a quick chart in Browse mode.
- Use the Chart tool in Layout mode to create a chart.


Since this article is aimed at developers, I will be taking a look at the second point here. In addition, I would add:

Have you ever thought about what is the difference between FileMaker Go and FileMaker Pro.

Yes, the obvious is that one is installed on a computer and the other on a device.

But besides that, there are quite a few things that look and work differently.

 

Your solution could of course work on both Mac, PC and on a device, but the basic thing is, in what way do your users need to access your solution.
