Exporter for Contacts (was "Export Address Book") is a popular Mac app to export contact data from Address Book to EXCEL, CSV and other formats, capable of organizing export setups in customizable templates to make repeated exports a lot easier.

Building an iOS App from a FileMaker Database
As you may be aware FileMaker Inc have given developers a toolset ("SDK") for creating standalone apps for iPhone and iPad, from FileMaker databases. The process is a little tricky and there're plenty of things to be aware of...

But it's worth it!

The key thing is that once you've got a standalone app, it's much easier for users to have your database as an app just like any other app, as an icon sitting on the iPhone or iPad rather than buried away under FileMaker Go. 



The other advantages are that it just looks and behaves like a standard native app. It opens quickly, with it's own splash screen and it's easier to install. In fact you can even sell (or give it away) through the App Store if you've built something that you want to distribute widely. More on deployment and distribution options later.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• FileMaker Pro is required to create and modify custom apps.
• Connecting to custom apps hosted on FileMaker Cloud or FileMaker Server requires the purchase of User Connections along with access to a local wireless or cellular network. 
• For offline access, copy files to FileMaker Go using iTunes File Sharing, email, or AirDrop.
• Files can be copied or emailed between a device and a desktop. Full two-way sync is not natively supported but can be implemented with additional development.

FileMaker, Inc. has revised the removal date for FileMaker Go 13. This app will now be removed from the App Store on September 23, 2016.

And on July 31, 2017, FileMaker Go 14 will be removed from the App Store.

Please note that due to iOS compatibility or for security issues, FileMaker Inc may remove these apps from the App Store earlier than scheduled.
