Pod2g will be releasing the untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 during the event HITB where the Chronic Dev-Team will be explaining the method they used in jailbreaking apple'siOS 5.1.1.

Pod2g has just updated his blog with the latest information on which devices will the jailbreak support. Pod2g has been working on iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak even before it was released. Pod2g initially started working on an untethered jailbreak for iPad3 right after the initial release. At that time, iOS 5.1 was released and by the time iOS 5.1.1 was released, Pod2g was almost done and his jailbreak was tested oniPad2 and iPad3.
