How long should educational videos be? Research says not longer than 6 minutes. Find out more here.

There have been a number of studies I've come across that have come to this same conclusion that 6 minutes is the optimal length for student engagement with an educational video. Yet, educators' urge to "cover the material" seems to get in the way of keeping videos to this level of conciseness. Six minutes guys!!

This is a fun way to use "faux" social media in the classroom. Fakebook has a Facebook template but can be used to create fictional social profiles. How can you use this? Book character profile? Famous American profiles? The possibilities are endless!

Lots of great resources including rubrics and resources for the project-based classroom. You don't have to do things completely how this school did, but there are lots of great resources to give you food for thought.
