"Happy academic year 2013-14! Here’s what we’ve got on our blog and how you can use it, whether you’re a teacher, a student (of any age) or a parent.
"This year we’ve added some new things and tweaked some old in a continuing effort to reach the widest range of classrooms.
"We have a new weekly news quiz, a new weekly feature for E.L.L. students, a new Friday skills lesson (which will have its debut later in September), a more Common Core-friendly way of writing our daily 6 Q’s About the News feature, and some surprises to come.
"Our popular features from the past are all back, of course, including last year’s hit, What’s Going On in This Picture?, which returns Sept. 9.
