Energy access is a big issue for businesses in Africa, but can the continent go green as well?

I didn't spot this four days ago - but this BBC clip looks at whether or not there's a significant role for green energy to play in powering Africa's future.
Given the resources involved - solar, water, wind - you would hope so. However, the article also looks at the challenges that the sector will face.

The BBC article looks at how Morocco is starting to develop its renewable energy resources, both solar and wind power, but also wonders whether these efforts should be direct towards supplying electricity to the domestic market rather than generating electricity for export to the EU.
