I include this article if only to highlight the fact that the recent US-China trade deal is likely to create more winners than losers. The trade war on the other hand...
That said, in this instance, it seems that US pig farmers have largely gained as the result of African swine flu decimating Chinese pork supplies.
Pork is the go-to meat in China, and as a result of the outbreak of swine flu it is US farmers that are picking up the slack, after two years of being hurt by the trade war. I wonder if they'll thank the President?
