This fascinating BBC article looks at the effects of coronavirus on developing economies, and concludes that there are a number of ways that it is going to have an adverse effect.
It has already driven down commodity prices, reduced trade and investment, increased the amount of debt that these countries are likely to incur, reduced remittances and reduced the size of the informal sector.
