In addition to its 10 point plan to reduce oil consumption, yesterday's International Energy Agency report highlights just how difficult it is going to be to overcome the global economy's dependence upon Russian oil.
It lists a number of potential sources of oil, from the Gulf, via Venezuela, Nigeria and US shale, and it's apparent that no one country can plug the gap.
