Global travel giant, Tui, as announced that it is going to shed 8,000 jobs indicating the extent to which the global travel sector has been hit by the pandemic.
Yesterday the UK government announced that they thought that this year was a year without extravagant foreign holidays, and this trend is likely to be something common to many developed economies, so even with a sizeable state loan from the German government, trading conditions will be tough for the foreseeable future.
