The Global Fund has expressed concerns that the impact of Covid has derailed attempts to end a number of diseases by 2030, such as malaria, tuberculosis and AIDS.
They argue that without a significant increase in funding, we will be unable to overcome these diseases by the 2030 deadline and that would, of course, have a detrimental effect upon on development in the developing world.
