A tester ! A lire ici : http://sco.lt/7H4SPJ

There are many digital magazine creation options out there. This is the new kid on the block. It is a simple and straightforward program to use. It would make a great final product from a research project.

Maybe a tad too complex for our young students, but still a nice way of understanding the foundations of storytelling!!

Seven steps to the perfect story is a great visual representation of how to build a story. This clearly explains the process of how students can construct their narrative and the types of characters they will use. I would definitely use this in my classroom to help students understand the process of creating a narrative.

I'm scooping this one for myself so I can experiment with it.
I do digital storytelling with my English language students quite regularly and have played with many tools in the process. I'm particularly in favour of tools that enable collaborative work and the uploading of a variety of media as this means that varying levels of language learners can work together and yet still gain from the learning process.

Thanks to Robin Good for finding this article.
This article showcases a number of great examples of Storify being used to tell stories. Also included are some basic steps to follow if you want to use Storify to tell your story: 1. Make sure you have accounts for your site or organization on all the major social networks. 2. Use hashtags and keywords to find story content. 3. Craft the story.

Robin Good's insight:
Hats to Susan Mernit, who has an excellent piece on Knight Digital Media Center about how to do effective news curation and storytelling with Storify.
She brings in lots of relevant stories and examples showcasing how other individuals and journalists have been effectively using this news curation platform.
"The most successful creators of Meograph and Storify pages are united by one thing: they’re skilled editors and curators who know how to look at content posted on multiple social networks and pull out the pieces that will best help them to tell a story."
“Storify is the best way to gather tweets, comments, snippets and images from all around the Web and put them into one post. It's a new way of blogging that lets all your Internet friends participate.”
Brava Susan, great job and superglad to have intercepted you again.
Instructive. Informative. Resourceful. 8/10

The digital storytelling wheel is a visual we created through Google Drawing based on a chart we have previously published here in EdTech and mLearning. The visual contains a number of educational apps and web tools that you can use with you students in class for digital storytelling projects. We have included apps for Android and iPad users as well as tools for web users. Check them out and share with us your feedback.
