Education technology continues its dynamic evolvement in K-12 and higher learning classrooms as schools figure out how to integrate new solutions to keep students engaged in learning and prepared to work in an increasingly digital world. Brick and mortar schools and online classrooms are increasingly adopting video technology as a means to reach students in a new and effective way.

Seems odd – a corporate MOOC, if only for the primary problem of them being ‘Open’. Corporate training is often built as closed, bespoke product, as companies want competitive edge. What’s the point of using stuff that everyone can use – we want to be better. For this reason, much corporate online learning will remain in-house and this will continue. However there are lots of other opportunities for MOOCs:

Some social media platforms provide good places to create a collaborative space for your students. This collaborative space can be used for a wide variety of reasons most important of which are: connecting with students outside the school, connecting with parents, posting assignments and homework, and sharing important dates and classroom projects to mention a few. The good thing about these platforms is that they are free and do not require any advanced tech wizardry to run them.
