Over the weekend a reader emailed me asking about the possibility of creating folders in Wakelet collections. Wakelet doesn't have a native folders feature. However, it is possible to added folders to Wakelet collections through Google Drive and OneDrive.

For many social media curators the impending end of free and open Storify, used extensively to create stories in the form of collections of tweets and other social media clips, was a huge blow. These stories saved and shared as one URL have provided numerous educators and their students and opportunity to save information collected in one space.

Wakelet promotes collaborative teamwork by offering users the ability to co-construct collections and sub-collections . As a teacher, you can create a collection and then invite your students to contribute. You can simply share the collection's code, a generated link, a QR code, or via email.

Wakelet is free bookmarking and note-taking service that I've been using since April when I started looking for alternatives to Padlet. On Wakelet you can create collection and sub-collections of notes, bookmarks, and pictures. You can add those materials to your Wakelet collections through a browser extension or by adding them directly to your collection on the Wakelet website.
