As the Digital Services and Technology Librarian, I’d like to focus this entry on an online teaching tool that I’ve incorporated into my Legal Research class. I love anything that promotes interactive participation and innovation—the key subword there being ACTIVE. There is passive participation when my students listen to me and follow along, but I think they can absorb more by active involvement. I believe it also makes them a unique part of a collaboration in the classroom setting instead of just another seat-filler. Feeling good in the classroom maximizes openness to learning.
