Un projet de standardisation des catalogues de jeux de données est à l’étude, mené par cinq collectivités territoriales ; Montpellier, Nantes, Paris, le département de la Gironde et la région Aquitaine.
Ce projet a pour but d'harmoniser les catalogues open data des différents projets locaux afin de faciliter la recherche des données et la création d’un « méta-catalogue » à l’échelle de tous les projets open data.
