The FNCC Pub designed by HP Lakhani Associates is an effortless blend of two distinct characteristics – culture and glamour!
Punctuating a monochrome approach with striking graphics, art, pin-up panels, ceiling elements and highlight furniture, DPA defines its architectural and design sensibilities with a touch of simplicity and élan. As Architect and President of the company, Sonali Bhagwati informs, “The design language found its take-off points from the near-complete façade and the white, grey and black colour of Alucobond and glass; as much as from the existing haphazard structural elements on the floor plate.”
Despite being flanked by prominent garment and jewellery stores in an upscale shopping district of Bhelupur, Benaras, designer boutique Gazal’s Panache stands out for its striking monochromatic palette, interior detailing and lattice-work influenced by the famous Benarasi weave, albeit in a contemporary avatar…

Paul & Shark's new flagship store demonstrates how design can refresh a brand... Rejuvenating a brand speaks volumes about the brand identity, its USP and its projected future, all rolled into a single wholesome experience. When B+H Architects were asked to work on the new flagship store in Hong Kong to augment the launch of Paul & Shark into the Asian markets, they capitalized on two aspects: fine craftsmanship and innovative spirit of the brand.
‘Chaos’ and ‘confinement’: ‘intense emotions’ and ‘intimacy’ is the essence that characterizes the design of this bar and restaurant – Kinoya in Montreal, Canada. Implementing this mindset into a pulsating space, interior designer, Jean de Lessard plays upon the need for community interaction to emulate in his design the primary spirit, function and aesthetics of the izakaya, where he plays with spatial configuration exploring design intimacy in relationships via different ways of occupying a space.

When interior design firm Ippolito Fleitz were presented with a 400 sq. m. loft space in the former army barracks in Esslingen, south of Germany, to be transformed into a home for a couple and their three kids, they zeroed in on an open plan that would aesthetically be differentiated into the mandatory zones of living, dining, retiring etc.
The Alen 68 motor yacht by renowned yacht design and construction company, Allen Yacht has just been launched in Istanbul, Turkey. Designed by Foster+Partners, the motor yacht uniquely combines the elegant social spaces of a cruising yacht with the fun of a day boat.
