Het koffiemerk Lavazza wil internationaal groeien. En staat daarbij zeer open voor een overname van (kleinere) niet Italiaanse koffiehuizen. Lavazza maakte in 2013 (2014 cijfers nog niet bekend) de helft van de omzet buiten Italië. Dat moet volgens vicepresident Giuseppe Lavazza 70% worden zonder een euro in te leveren in Italië, zo zegt hij tegen het persagentschap Radiocor.
