This article by EducatorsTechnology was one of the first that allowed me to draw the connection from ‘technology’ as an ethereal concept, to the more concrete concept of using web tools and apps that support inquiry-based learning. A very straight forward and easy to follow article, it lists and in 2-3 sentences describes 10 apps and webtools that can be used to engage students in inquiry and question asking activities. All of these are resources that could be provided by TLs either to staff to conduct their own lessons, or directly to students in inquiry tasks. Each of these educational tools can be used either as a framework within which students can undertake inquiry tasks, assist in their development of inquiry questions, or present their inquiry findings in unique and creative ways.
