I think the movement towards Distanced Learning in light of the Covid-19 Pandemic can ironically overlook the importance of pastoral support as a direct link to fostering engagement - a very good read on the argument that not every teacher/student interaction need be directly related to curricula

Once I read this article it really made me relate. It is important to focus on the simple little things. Many times the smallest things make the biggest impacts, which in this case would be simply taking a couple of minutes to make the connection with the learners. As an educator I always tried engaging students. Praise is powerful. Learners need to feel connected.

If we are assigning project based learning to our students we need to make sure the project is challenging, clarity of expectations and understanding, and develop a student culture of ownership for their work.

This article provides great detail to how you can incorporate project based learning into the classroom. This clearly describes how teachers can put PBL into their classroom and why it is effective. I see this as a really helpful tool and will hopefully use it in my classroom

I believe they should encourage every student to turn their camera on, so the teachers will be able to to communicate with students easily. Most teacher can know if their students understand their material by making eyes contact with their students.

Right now is important to know which way can help us to improve our lesson in public schools, it's a reality that anyone was prepared to give online classes, but these problems get to much strength in countries in Soth American countries where the education is not efficient as it has to be. So is important to read this type of information as educators to get more tools for our classrooms, and take advantage of technology.

This page is an extraordinary tool! To learn math in an interactive and fun way, like I have never seen before. They call it "the textbook of the future" and it is very accurate to do so. I highly recommend that you take a look at it and explore it. Share it with other teachers as well so they can use and enjoy it. In addition, the children will want to use it and will be more motivated to learn and pay attention. Awesome!

During the pandemic, educational videos help teachers provide additional learning materials for students. However, some advertisements will pop up (when we use youtube) during the play, which may be a distraction for students.

I have always felt that elementary is the foundation of learning. Right now there are some schools doing hybrid learning. As an educator we must make sure children are acknowledging us as we give good feedback. We must always keep in mind what age level you are responding to. Providing feedback is a major role in the learning process that serves as a driving force for students .

Although the pandemic gave us an opportunity to approach education in a different way, it also brings us many concerns regarding the consequences of spending so much time in front of a screen. Fatigue, lack of sleep, and headache can be symptoms of overuse of screens. Teachers should find ways to make their classes a little more practical and thus avoid students spending many hours on their computer or phone.
