Margaret Annen's curator insight,

Out of this article, I have used about 5 of the Bookmarking tools and from experience I find them to be of great interest in asking myself, in what sort of form do I wish to express my ideas and who is my audience? It is important to ask these questions whenever you are creating anything for both inside and outside of the classroom. With reference to my project, obviously DE and AP Spanish instructors will have to expose themselves to this technology and then create their pieces. In doing this, they will ask themselves, what is best for my student?, and which medium will allow them to internalize and connect to the information?

Webjets seems to be an useful tool for teachers and students to organize lesson and projects that have to be developed in a team. It is now a trend to use this kind of materials since we are on the 21st century and it demands the use of this tools. However, it is a challenge in our country to work successfully on this platforms due to our reality, most of all, in public schools. It would be awesome to bring different activities to enhance students and help on their learning process through digital tools, nevertheless, the digital devices available in public schools are limited and it is so occasional the time where we as teachers can make use of them up to the point that we expect. For that reason, we have to take advantage of all the opportunities we have to develop the 21st century skills in the students, specially the one devoted to the use of technological tools.

I've used Pearltrees, LiveBinders, Pinterest, and Scoop.it. All are good and useful in learning.

La curación de contenidos es una actividad importante en la era actual, tanto para educadores como para alumnos. No debemos confundir curar contenidos con tener un conocimiento sobre una materia. Pero, ¿sabemos diferenciar ambos conceptos?
