Giving feedback is really necessary in language teaching education. Depending on the kind of feedback provided to students, it creates positive or negative impact on them. Most of the time, the feedback that is given is not friendly. As teachers in the 21st century, we require skills to give feedback, and this video shows great tips when giving comments. It proposes a four-part formula in order to create positive outcomes on learners and motivate them to continue working. The steps proposed consist of letting them know that you are going to give them feedback so they are prepared. Then, you can share the data of the feedback itself and show the impact that is related to that action. Finally you can ask an ended question and that way the feedback sessions are not going to look like a monologue.

In all work areas there is important to give and receive feedbacks. As future teachers, our centered tool to work will be the feedback (giving and receiving it). The video taught me how to be a great feedback giver. There are two ways to give a feedback indirectly or directly; in mi personal case, I use to provide direct feedback since it can cause a bigger impact on the student. To conclude, it is important to know that if a teacher gives a indirect or soft feedback, the student can not recognize the confusing advice.

This video described how feedback influences positively or negatively the outcomes of employees in different companies, and we could say that it is almost the same with our students. They are trying so hard to learn something new for them and their results will depend on how we provide our observations to them. It is crucial for us as future teachers to be clear and concise when giving feedback but not to be really rude with the learners inasmuch as it affects their motivation to learn.
