"The PathoYeastract database, a repository of data on transcription regulation occurring in pathogenic yeasts responsible for the development of candidiasis in humans, has just been launched. The knowledge gathered therein by researchers from BSRG-iBB and INESC-ID was extracted from hundreds of publications. The database provides researchers in the field with computational tools that are crucial for the design of improved strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening yeast infections.
