Novel Capture Step for the Purification of Monoclonal Antibodies | iBB | Scoop.it

In a recent paper published on Journal of Chromatography A, researchers working on the Bioseparation Engineering area of BERG, in collaboration with Icosagen Cell Factory, describe the successful development of an alternative capture step for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) based on a new multimodal ligand, phenyl boronate. The low cost, high stability and selectivity of this synthetic ligand may lead to the implementation of phenyl boronate chromatography as a new platform in the downstream processing of mAbs. Click on title to learn more.
