What Will the LMS of the Future Look Like?

What Will the LMS of the Future Look Like? | Help and Support everybody around the world | Scoop.it
Have you ever become frustrated with your learning management system (LMS)? If so, you are not alone. They are not as easy to use as other educational technology products; however, they are essential for the classroom. Yet, educators are hopeful that developers are already planning the LMS of the future to be more effective.

As technology evolves and education becomes future ready, the LMS of the future will become more than a helpful administrative tool. The LMS of the future will be a hands-on all-access tool for education.

I expect the next generation of LMSs will be more social and focus much more on enhancing the learner's experience.

Alberto Rivera's curator insight, June 5, 2022 12:37 AM
This article gives me a good idea of how LMS of today are very difficult to use and difficult to manage. It gives good depth on how LMs are designed as a one size fits all type of system they are expected to work for everyone. It also gives you some idea of what the future of an LMS looks like being that they will be more individualized and tailored more to the student than making them one size fits all

Infographic: The Car of the Future

Infographic: The Car of the Future | Help and Support everybody around the world | Scoop.it

Will the steering wheel, brakes and gas pedal be replaced with sensors and software?

Cars that talk to each other are being tested in Ann Arbor, Mich., in the largest vehicle-to-vehicle pilot in the nation, and testing of self-driving cars has been approved in both California and Nevada. In fact, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) predicts that in 2040, 75 percent of cars on the road will be self-driving.

A recent press release on Top 10 Future Car Technologiesfrom Total Car Score mirrors much of the information from the following infographic from InsuranceQuotes.com, which shows what other features cars in the future might have. Think super fuel efficiency, media on demand, voice control and zero maintenance...

To Advance Education, We Must First Reimagine Society

To Advance Education, We Must First Reimagine Society | Help and Support everybody around the world | Scoop.it
Why haven't education reform efforts amounted to much? Because they start with the wrong problem, says John Abbott, director of the 21st Century Learning Initiative. Overhauling the educational paradigm means replacing the metaphor — the concept of the world and its inhabitants as machine-like entities — that has shaped the education system, as well as many other aspects of our culture.
